Free Library Music Workshops for Children (Ages 7–11)

In partnership with Hampshire Libraries, we’re delighted to offer up to 40 free places for local children aged 7 to 11 to take part in two exciting Library Music Workshops in Havant and Leigh Park this August.

About the Workshops

Each session offers a unique opportunity for children to:

Learn to play a new instrument
Develop and write an original story
Compose a live musical soundscape to accompany their story

No prior musical experience is required — all instruments and expert instruction will be provided by the talented team from the Southern Music Project.

How to Register

These workshops are free to attend, but places are limited to 20 children per session. Early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.

If you register and can no longer attend, please let the Southern Music Project know as soon as possible so your place can be offered to another child.
